Right of withdrawal for consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.)

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to within 60 daysn to cancel this contract without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is 60 days. days from the day:

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that the order has been delivered in full;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the last item of goods, provided that several items of goods were delivered separately;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that the goods were delivered in several partial shipments.

A notice: Should the returns portal not work in exceptional cases, you can also submit your cancellation informally via email to support@essentialbag.de send it and arrange the return manually at your own expense.

Please note: Manual returns without using the portal can delay processing and are more time-consuming for you. The returns portal is the fastest and most efficient way – we strongly recommend it.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of cancellation before the deadline expires.

Consequences of the revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you. excluding delivery and return shipping costs – at the latest within 14 daysn from the day your return has been received by us.

We will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for the original order, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any additional fees.

We may refuse to refund your money until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return, whichever comes first.

Important NOTE:
Returns to other addresses – especially the company address of Essentialbag GmbH – are not permitted, as these addresses are not operationally equipped for returns. They lack the necessary staff to process returns and are not a designated returns center.

Such shipments are usually rejected by the shipping service provider or returned to the sender. In exceptional cases, processing may be delayed as a courtesy. The statutory 14-daysThe deadline will not be met, and a significant delay must be expected.

You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that is not necessary for testing the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.

Goodwill policy: Early refund

In Single PackIn some cases, we voluntarily grant a refund before the goods have physically arrived and been processed. This applies particularly if processing is demonstrably delayed.

Our support team reviews each case individually and decides at its own discretion whether to grant a preliminary refund. There is no entitlement to an early refund.

Grounds for exclusion and expiry

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts that are:

  • for the supply of goods that have been individually manufactured or tailored to personal needs;
  • for the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • for the delivery of sealed goods (e.g. hygiene products) if the seal has been removed after delivery;
  • for the supply of goods that have been inseparably mixed with other goods;
  • for the supply of audio/video recordings or software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed;
  • for the delivery of newspapers, magazines or illustrated magazines (excluding subscriptions);
  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages with market-related price fluctuations.

Special features of discount promotions

“3 for 2” offers:
The discount is forfeited if one or more items are returned. The regular individual price will be charged for the items kept.

“2 for 1” offers:
If one or both items are returned, the discount will be voided. You will pay the regular individual price.

This also applies accordingly to “5 for 3” offers as well as similar quantity discount promotions based on the same principle.

Quantity discounts (e.g. "Buy 2 - get 10% off"):
The discount is forfeited if only part of the order is returned. Items kept will be charged at the regular individual price.
